Foster's Music offers an unforgettable music experience at the Foo Fighters’ London gig

Foo Fighters168 Finns were treated to a unique music experience last Saturday, when Foster’s Music flew a planeload of lucky winners to the Foo Fighters’ London gig at Wembley Stadium.

At the beginning of the year, Foster's Music organised a competition asking Finns to vote whether they would rather attend a Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys or Bullet For My Valentine gig in one of Europe’s major stadiums. The Foo Fighters were the clear victors, and so Foster’s flew 168 lucky winners to the band’s concert at London’s New Wembley Stadium on Saturday 7 June.

The Foo Fighters were in their element at Wembley, and gave an intense and energetic two-hour concert. The band’s front man Dave Grohl called it the best evening ever, and an audience of almost 90,000 roared in agreement. There was also a surprise in store, as Jimmy Page made a guest appearance on stage.

“Foster’s wants to offer Finns unique music experiences. The Foo Fighters’ mega concert at London’s enormous Wembley Stadium was without doubt an unforgettable experience for everyone who was there,” says Pekko Koski, Foster’s brand manager for Hartwall.

Foster's will continue to be an active player in the world of music. Foster’s will be taking part in several summer music festivals and is one of the two main partners in cooperation for the Finnish gig in Bon Jovi’s Lost Highway world tour. The www.fostersmusic.fi website brings together a variety of music-related items, such as the latest music news, information on summer festivals, music videos and a music shop.
