Hartwall and Servaali have today, 23 December 2008, agreed that Murphy's Irish Stout and Buckler beer, which are currently sold in Finland by Servaali, will become part of the Hartwall range. Hartwall will distribute both products in all sales channels from 1 January 2009.
Murphy's and Buckler are Heineken Group products, and are being transferred to Hartwall as part of Hartwall’s integration into Heineken.
Murphy's genuine Irish stout has been produced since 1854 and is currently the world’s second best-selling stout. Silky smooth Murphy’s has a roasted, coffee-like flavour. When poured into a glass, its black body is crowned by a stunning, long-lasting head. This 4.0% alc/vol stout comes in 24-can units (0.5-litre cans).
Buckler is the Heineken Group’s well-known and well-respected non-alcoholic beer. It’s made in the Netherlands and is available all over the world. Buckler is a lightly hopped, genuine lager with a golden colour and frothy head. At 0.5% alc/vol, it can be classed as a non-alcoholic beer. It’s sold in 24-can units (0.33-litre cans).
