Tiger brings the taste of Asia to the beer market

TigerHartwall’s range of beers will expand at the beginning of April with the launch of the world’s best-known Asian beer – Tiger. Finns are increasingly interested in imported beers. Hartwall will keep enlarging its portfolio of imported beers by introducing suitable new brews.

Hartwall seeks to build up value and respect for beer and the beer market over the long term.

“Local beer brands rank number one almost everywhere in the world. We believe that familiar domestic brands will hold on to their strong position in Finland, too. That said, Finnish consumers also crave new specialty and imported beers. We meet this demand not only with in-house product development, but also through well-considered launches of suitable imported beers from the extensive and diverse beer portfolio of our parent company, Heineken,” says Tuomas Kahri, Head of Marketing and Communications at Hartwall.

This new addition to Hartwall’s portfolio is the world’s best-known Asian beer. Tiger has been brewed in Singapore since 1932. It is a 4.6% ABV pale lager that is brewed exclusively from the finest natural ingredients. The beer will be available at the beginning of April in four-packs of 0.33-litre bottles.

Previous additions to Hartwall’s range from Heineken’s beer portfolio are Heineken, Murphy's Irish Stout and the non-alcoholic Buckler. Heineken beer is enjoyed in almost every country in the world. It is the world’s most respected international premium beer brand. Heineken has been brewed since 1873 to the original recipe.

Murphy's is an authentic Irish stout, brewed since 1854. It is the world’s second bestselling stout. This black brew has a toasted flavour and a silky, coffee-like texture. When poured, it yields a beautiful and long-lasting head.

Buckler is a well-known and respected non-alcoholic beer that is sold worldwide. It is a lightly hopped genuine lager that is a beautiful shade of yellow and pours a generous head.
