Elina Ussa (39), MSc (Food Science), has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry as from 27 September 2010. She is also the head of public affairs at the Finnish Food and Drink Industries’ Federation. Ussa has previously served as a Special Advisor to ministers at several ministries, in the National Coalition Party’s Parliamentary Group and in the same party’s group in the European Parliament.
