What beverage is as clear and colourless as water, but glows in the dark? To find out, take a bottle of ED Special F/X Light into a pitch-black room ... and turn on a UV light!
In normal illumination, the drink is as clear as water. The special effect is caused by one of its ingredients – quinine, which glows when exposed to ultraviolet light. This will create a really cool ambiance for a WLAN party or your own room.
ED Special F/X Light was created by Hartwall’s in-house R&D. Its exotic flavour is a mix of rambutan and delicious baobab. ED Special F/X Light is sweetened with fructose and aspartame, keeping its energy content down to only 8 kcal per decilitre.
ED Special F/X Light picks you up and keeps you alert, enlivening your body and mind. The new ED contains active ingredients familiar from other energy drinks: caffeine, taurine and four types of vitamin B.
Not for children
Due to their caffeine content, energy drinks are not recommended for children, pregnant women or people who are sensitive to caffeine. The daily recommended limit is no more than two bottles of ED Special F/X Light. The recommendations are printed on all the product packaging and are based on the guidelines of Evira, the Finnish Food Safety Authority.
ED Special F/X Light is vitamin-enriched, contains caffeine and taurine, and has a baobab and rambutan flavour. It comes in a 0.5-litre bottle and will be on sale for a limited time only. The price of one bottle in stores is about EUR 2.20.
