Hartwall was the first company in Finland to introduce beverages featuring the recently discovered, zero-calorie natural sweetener derived from the leaves of stevia. Consumers welcomed the new beverages with open arms, and now the story continues, as the new, lighter Novelle Friss beverages are arriving in stores. The fresh and fruity taste of the Novelle Friss Sitrus and Marja-Sitrus drinks is derived from real fruits and berries. The sweetness of the drink is created by steviol glycosides and fructose, producing a light, natural flavour.
In December, Hartwall became the first company in Finland to introduce beverages featuring the zero-calorie natural sweetener (steviol glycosides) derived from the leaves of stevia. The Hartwall Jaffa Super soft drinks have had an extremely positive reception, and the public have shown a great deal of interest in beverages combining lightness and naturalness. Now, Hartwall’s selection of beverages sweetened with steviol glycosides will grow with the introduction of the new and improved Novelle Friss.
From now on, the Novelle Friss beverages have 30 per cent fewer calories than before, because their sweetener combines fructose with steviol glycosides. The delicate green Novelle Friss Sitrus with its grapefruit, lime and lemon flavours, contains only 7 kilocalories /100 ml, as does the light reddish Friss Marja-Sitrus. In this beverage, grapefruit is joined by red grapefruit and cranberry.
Like other products in the Novelle family, the lightly sparkling Friss beverages also get their natural taste from real berries and fruit. These fresh, fruity beverages provide a delicious choice for those who want to treat themselves while maintaining a healthy diet.
The slightly carbonated Hartwall Friss Sitrus and Marja-Sitrus sweetened with steviol glycosides and fructose are available in 0.5 litre and 1.5 litre recyclable plastic bottles. The new products will be available in stores from 23 January.
