Ciders

Ciders

Finns love cider. Annual per-capita cider consumption is about 10 litres. Only in Ireland is cider more popular.

The basic cider flavours are apple and pear, but the popularity of flavoured ciders has already soared to over 40 per cent. Light ciders are also in high demand – every other bottle bought is light cider.

Finns have traditionally preferred sweet cider, but dry and natural flavours and real British ciders have seen significant growth in recent years.

The popular Upcider range lifts you higher. Upcider comes in several flavours: apple and pear and flavoured varieties.

Upcider Natural ciders are made only with natural flavourings. They have a higher fruit content and are slightly less carbonated than other domestic ciders, making them very smooth and crisp.

Hartwall’s cider portfolio also includes three real British ciders. Strongbow is a dry and sharp cider bursting with apple flavour. Scrumpy Jack is refreshingly tart and Bulmers Original is a smooth apple cider with a high fruit content.
