Group Procurement Program Manager

We are part of the Danish beverage company Royal Unibrew, a leading regional player in a number of markets primarily in Northern Europe, Italy and in the international malt beverage markets. Now we are looking for a new team member to join our Royal Unibrew team working across the different markets.

Are you ready to take the lead in transforming procurement processes? Royal Unibrew is seeking a dynamic Procurement Program Manager to join our Group Procurement function. If you're passionate about driving value and efficiency through innovative practices, this role is for you!

A bit about your new role

As the Procurement Excellence Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to optimise our procurement practices.

Your main focus will be on driving continuous improvement initiatives, developing and streamlining processes, and enhancing collaboration. You'll also play a pivotal role in developing our team and integrating digital tools to propel our procurement organization forward. As the position is part of our Group function with connections to many of our markets, it can be managed from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Netherlands or other Royal Unibrew sites.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Defining best practices and implementing effective routines to enhance consistency and maturity in our operating model.
  • Managing and optimizing end-to-end procurement processes, including category management, sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance.
  • Coordinating the procurement calendar, planning, and communications to support efficient execution, as well as leading the procurement inputs into adhoc group project.
  • Leading the procurement continuous improvement agenda and facilitating effective change management.
  • Championing learning and development programs for the function.
  • Spearheading digitalization efforts to unlock eProcurement solutions in collaboration with Group IT and other key stakeholders.
  • Building robust working relationships across the organization to drive collaboration and alignment.

We hope you can recognize yourself from the list:

  • Bachelor's degree; professional CIPS qualification or similar preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience in an international or matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, ERP systems, and procurement tools. Proficiency in Power Apps and Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to build stakeholder credibility and foster collaboration.
  • Proven track record in project and change management, with the ability to initiate and embed change.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Team player with leadership qualities and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Previous experience in production processes, lean manufacturing, or six sigma problem-solving is a plus.
